Taiwan decided on a 4% salary adjustment

The ROC., Taiwan Executive Yuan officially decided on a 4% salary adjustment for the military, public education, and education next year, marking the highest salary adjustment for the military, public education, and education in 25 years.

According to official statistics, after a 5% salary increase in 1996, the military, public, and education had all increased their salaries by 3%. After 2000, the military, public and education have only increased their salaries four times, in 2001, 2005, 2011 and 2018.  

The upcoming 4% salary adjustment will take effect in the year of 2022.
