Updated Policy of Registrations of Company and Business

In order to simplify business registration process, Ministry of Economic Affairs will adopt the new procedure in which registration and management will be handled separately from April 13, 2009. When the Commerce Department completes the registration of a new company, it will notify the local fire, construction management, and health authorities and the relevant organizations will take care of follow-up procedures. In consideration of tax-filing issues, when a new company applies to the Commerce Department for Registration it should inform the MOF of its tax information at the same time.
